How to edit captions

On the video: drag a caption to move it, drag a corner or the top or bottom bar to resize it, drag the left or right bar to make the text box wider or narrower, double-clicktap to edit the text. On the timeline: tap a block to select it, then drag a block to retime it, drag its edges to trim. Here: tap a word chip to edit that word: make it a key word (the big treatment in every style), fix its text or timing, add or delete words.

Text behind the speaker

Layer Auto: the app decides what goes behind

Cuts the speaker out of every frame so text sits behind their head. Place the text so it overlaps them. With Auto on, each caption goes behind only where the speaker overlaps it and it stays readable. Each caption can override this in the Captions tab.

A virtual camera operator for talking-head videos. Let it work on its own, or choose Manual and decide exactly when it zooms and what it aims at.

Each camera move zooms in from its start to its end, then goes back to the full picture. Moves show as purple Zoom blocks under the captions on the timeline: drag them, or drag their edges.

Behind the speaker

It goes on the BG track under V1, starting at the playhead. Drag it to where it should show, drag its edges to trim it; add more for different parts. A video plays once (it never loops), and outside these clips the real background shows.

Something important missing, like a hand, a mic or a product? Paint it back with Keep. Bits of the old background left over? Paint them away with Remove.

Brush size

Red on the video is what gets replaced. [ and ] change the brush size, zoom in with + under the video for fine edges. Strokes stay at the same spot in every frame.

Auto emoji: pop an emoji next to words like money, idea or fire

Layers

Stack clips like in Premiere Pro: videos and pictures on V2 / V3 (over your video, V3 on top) and sound effects or other audio on A2 / A3. Drag files onto the timeline, or add them at the playhead. Drag a clip to move it (also up or down to another track), drag its edges to trim; Split (or S) cuts it at the playhead, Delete removes it. Clips snap to the playhead and to other edits.

Trim & cut

Move the playhead to the spot, then press a button. Removed parts are skipped when you play and left out of the export.
